The Outdoor Channel have been a supporting media partner of the KTA Asian Championship Tour for the past two seasons and now will launch the coming season with a full 30 minute show from the World Championships in November. The Outdoor Channel is broadcast across 14 countries throughout Asia, Australia and New Zealand, with further potential of show being broadcast with the Outdoor Channel USA.

Outdoor Channel (Asia) Managing Director Gregg Creevy had this to say about the new agreement –

“We are pleased to join forces with KTA to broadcast the Kiteboarding World Championships, which will see the world’s best kiteboarding athletes travel to China to compete for the world crown.  Kiteboarding is rapidly gaining popularity across Asia-Pacific and we are pleased to be the official broadcast partner for this prestigious event”.

Outdoor Channel (USA) – Launched in 1994, Outdoor Channel is the World Leader in Outdoor Entertainment. The channel features traditional and contemporary outdoor sports such as fishing, off-road, action and extreme sports, adventure, water-sports and more. Whether out on the ocean or on top of a mountain, Outdoor Channel covers a broad range of outdoor activities that thrill, inspire and entertain. Outdoor Channel is available in more than 40 million households worldwide. In Asia, Outdoor Channel is owned and operated by Multi Channels Asia.

This additional media support is fantastic news and will ensure an even wider reach for the event and our sport by bringing all the championship race action direct to the TV viewing public across millions of homes, adding enormously to what promises to be one of the best media covered Kiteboard World Championships to date.

The Outdoor Channel team also hoped to be joining the event with their channel promotional stand so you can all see more about what the channel has to offer and the range of sports and outdoor activity it covers.
